Newborn - Baby Elijah || Lifestyle

Just about month ago I was photographing his mom for maternity pictures, and now, Baby Elijah has been born and I had the privilege to take some newborn photos of him. He is such a cute little guy, and already active and ready to take on the world! This newborn shoot was so much fun, and the subjects were pretty fun to work with too :) Elijah was wide awake for most of the shoot, which made for some interesting moments and faces. Not to mention getting some beautiful shots of his almond shaped eyes! I had such a great time taking these newborns, and I hope you all love them as much as me!

Maternity - Baby Elijah || Manchester Meadows Park, Rock Hill SC

When I first started doing maternity shoots, it captured my interest. I have always loved family shoots, senior shoots and engagement shoots, but never really thought about maternity. Let me just say… I have no idea what I was thinking! Why you may ask? Because I LOVE MATERNITY SESSIONS!!! I had an AMAZING time with Sheng and her family for this totally adorable maternity session.
We decided to do a morning shoot, so the lighting was perfect and the weather wasn't to hot, since it is the middle of July.. for goodness it's hot during the daytime! I had never taken photos at this particular location before, but might I just say that it is my most FAVORITE places to shoot now! All the photos are gorgeous to say the least, and the subjects are pretty gorgeous too ;) We did a couple more candid shots and I absolutely LOVED them! I loved working with this amazing family and can't wait to meet little Baby Elijah when he makes his appearance into the world. I loved the way all these turned out and hope you enjoy because I definitely do!

{Baby Elijah - Maternity}

1 Year Old - Christina || Lifestyle

It seem just like yesterday that I was taking this little girls 1 month newborn photos. She was so tiny and funny, and her eyes stared into you soul. All you could do was look at that beautiful face. Now, here she is, 1 year old, all smiles, and lots of love for everyone around her. This girl has been SUCH a joy and privilege to photograph. I have been going through my photo library recently and seeing how she has grown the last 12 months is AMAZING! She has gotten SO BIG :)
When I was talking with her mom about what we wanted to do for her 1 year, we were definitely looking at a cake smash. I loved that I was able to capture the cake smash as she was pretty excited there for a while (aka. fits of extreme smiling and feet in the cake to test the temperature). She also had a Hawaiian themed birthday party to recognize her heritage and the colors were so beautiful! Her little Hawaiian outfit and lei went so well together. And did I mention her "friends" were able to stop by for a "piece of cake"?! This was a super fun shoot and I will miss being able to photograph this beautiful little girl every month. I will, however, be looking forward to see how she grows and I am sure will bring many smiles to those around her!
